Olej MCT Ölmühle Solling stanowi połączenie ok. 40% kwasu kaprynowego i ok. 60% kwasu kaprylowego. Oba należą do rodziny średniołańcuchowych kwasów tłuszczowych, o których powszechnie wiadomo, że ulegają bardzo szybkiej metabolizacji w organizmie. Są one znane z wyjątkowej zdolności do szybkiego dostarczania energii do organizmu, bez konieczności przetwarzania przez układ limfatyczny, docierając bezpośrednio do wątroby.
