Sproszkowana chrząstka rekina (Galeorhinus galeus) wspiera prawidłowe funkcjonowanie kości, chrząstek i mięśni.

Chrząstka rekina jest doskonałym źródłem glikozaminoglikanów, które są ważnym składnikiem tkanki łącznej. Siarczan chondroityny wspiera proteoglikany, które produkują maź stawową (substancję międzykomórkową). Kolagen stanowi średnio 30% ludzkiego białka. Jest głównym budulcem chrząstek stawowych oraz skóry.
